We are inviting organisations to partner with us for the 6th Digital Citizen Summit (DCS 2024). The Digital Citizen Summit has been organised since 2016 as flagship event providing a multi-stakeholder platform to discuss and deliberate on digital rights and citizenship. As artificial intelligence increasingly permeates our society, economy, and governance, it is imperative that we address the ethical implications, and accountability challenges it presents particularly for the unconnected and under connected communities. DCS 2024 aims to unpack the opacity surrounding AI, democratise the discourse, and explore the ways to ensure AI benefits all sections of society equitably and does not harm anybody.
We would like to partner with organisations whose expertise and support would be critical in making this summit inclusive and driving meaningful conversations about AI’s role in our future.
It is important to note that the event is not fully funded, and we are actively seeking partnerships to enable participation of community-based organisations, citizen groups, representatives of social movements, activists and students. We are looking for support in the following categories:
